Zagazig University organized a seminar at Faculty of Commerce to mark World Statistics Day

Zagazig University in collaboration with the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics Branch eastern province organized seminar at Faculty of Commerce about the importance of statistics in our lives and its role in sustainable development, on Sunday, October 18th, 2015 under the auspices of Dr. Abd El Hakeem Nour El dine, Acting President of Zagazig University as part of the celebration of World Statistics Day as a kind of recognition Universal service provided by the global statistical system at national and international levels .

Dr. Abd El Hakeem Nour El dine pointed that this seminar comes within the framework of seminars convened by the university series aim of disseminating statistical awareness of all private groups of university students as knowledge ambassadors to their families to build more aware of the importance of statistics community, as well as shed light on the role of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics in Development Planning and within the Arab Republic of Egypt. He added: We hope that these seminars help promote awareness of and public confidence in official statistics, it is also an invitation to provide further support to the work of statisticians in various fields and activating the means of cooperation between the university and institutions and state agencies for sustainable development which we all seek to Egypt dear.
